3 Tips You Need to Know for Reselling Online

Splurged a little too hard at the thrift store? Or need to cut out some extra space in your closet for the upcoming huge holiday sale? We have been talking alot about tips to look for a good find in thrift store, but isn't it as important to get yourself ready for thrift finds? Here is an easy way to do it.
Sell those pre-loved clothes online!
Lets get your closet cleaning done and a little bit of extra cash in a few easy steps.

So, here are 3 important tips to start for beginners.

        1.  Find a market place that you feel comfortable with.

When it comes to reselling clothing, my favorite platform is Poshmark. On Poshmark, you will create your “closet” that act similar as your online store. Listing on Poshmark is very simple and free. However, for all sales under $15, Poshmark charges a flat commission of $2.95, and for sales of $15 and more, Poshmark will take 20% for commission while you keep 80% of the sales. Of course, you can always choose other platforms that charge less, like eBay, who charge about 10%. Or even on Facebook, who charge nothing but neither sellers nor buyers are protected by any policy, you are responsible for any transaction you made.

         2. Get some great photos for your listing.

Here is a quick video from eBay for showing how to take pictures for your listing.
A picture is worth a thousand bucks! It is a first impression for your viewers and it will help to boost your listing views. Your photos should give your potential buyers a full look of the items, including any flaws or damages. It will help to prevent returns and bad reviews for your seller profile. IF, you are a really bad photographer to take a good photo, including one runway image after some personal product shots might be another good way to show a clean images of your items.

         3. Price it right.

Price is another first impression for your potential buyers. First, check other marketplaces and see how similar items are priced. You don’t want to scare buyers off with a rip-off price but you don’t want to lose out on any cash by selling cheaper than what it is worth too. Now, keep in mind with the shipping cost here. It is not a good idea to have your profit eaten up by unexpected shipping cost. You can either include shipping cost on your listing or have the buyers be responsible for it.

I hope these tips are helpful!
Lets get ready for the holiday salessssssss!!
