2nd Time Around the Corner

Everyone loves to shop in city. It makes perfect sense, a plethora of options, people and opportunity. This doesn’t always mean we can make it there so if you want to stop and thrift on the way home, here are some local shops you can check out.
The Thrift Shop of Boston 33 Corinth Street Roslindale, MA
Since 1926 this thrift store has been a staple in Boston and earned their title. It’s crazy how nice they are, every thursday all movies, books and music is 50% off. This past week they had a yellow tag sale(everything with a yellow tag is $1!). Plus you’ll feel good knowing that you gave back they fund The Home for Little Wanderers.

Frugal Finders Thrift Shop 538 River St, Boston
In Mattapan Square there is this thrift store that if you blink you’ll miss. They aren’t that big of a store, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find a gem in there, so it wouldn’t hurt to stop by if you’re in the area.

Bureau Drawer Thrift Shop 105 Adams Street Quincy, MA

The last place you have to try out is the Bureau Drawer. Behind Interfaith Social Services  in Quincy, this shop has a neat selection of clothes and numerous other things to choose from. In fact used clothing is only scratching the surface of what they ask for, they accept toys, books, jewelry and appliances. Interfaith Social Services is a relief center that is dedicated serving the ones in the community that are in need. Just a short walk from the Quincy Center T station on the red line, this makes it very accessible.
